Description

Rotorignition MHR Team II adjustable from the manufacturer Malossi for Piaggio LC engines.

Old reference Malossi 5517975

Malossi has manufactured the MHR Team II ignition withadjustable and adjustable control unit for different engines.

The new Malossi ignitions have been improved to the maximum to concentrate the best technology applicable to the competition.
They are able to reach more than 10.000 RPM, together with the control unit that Malossi has developed, they can guarantee a spark efficiency, unlike the old models.

The MHR Team II control unit has been developed with a uP STM8-8 microprocessor with a processing capacity of more than 20 MIPS (million instructions per second) and a variable advance with 3 Trimmer:

  1. (MAPS) to determine the map in advance
  2. (OFFSET) allows us to change the desired map by +0 - 2°.
  3. (LIM) RPM limiter variation (from 11.500 to 14.3000 rpm + limiter excluded) particularly suitable for4-stroke engines .

It also has 8 pre-set maps , divided into:

  • 1 map for 4-stroke engines with variable advance
  • 6 maps for 2-stroke engines with variable advance
  • 1 map with fixed advance

The MHR Team II ignition coil has been improved in every aspect, designed to be able to supply amaximum discharge voltage >40 KV for engine speeds >3000 RPM and an extraordinary rise of 10Bar>17
50 V/uS.
They have improved the electrical efficiency +/- 20%, reducing the minimum speed from 450 RPM to 370 RPM.
The ignition and the stator have been manufactured in the best materials and tested on the best circuits in Italy to achieve the desired performance.

Lhe main modifications that we can see in the ignition, are:

  • Reduction of the weight of the stator part by approximately 30%, -100gr total
  • Optimisation of the magnetic path
  • Improved electrical efficiency by + 20%
  • Monolithic magnetic circuit with high permeability
  • Rotor Ø 58 with Neodymium magnets
  • Automotive class wiring
  • IP67 certified waterproof connector

In the assembly instructions we will provide you with all the graphics with adjusted feed rates for different motors.

ATTENTION When mounting this type of ignition the installation of the motorbike is cancelled.
