TECHNICAL FEATURES
Cylinder
- Material: primary aluminium alloy with high silicon content, hardened and tempered, cylinder liner with silicon carbide coating in a galvanic nickel die and cross smoothed with two diamond passages.
- Machining: on high-precision numerically controlled machine tools.
- Cylinder-piston connection with a tolerance of 0.05 mm.
- Heat exchange surfaces recalculated and updated.
Piston
- Ultra compact with 3 rings.
- Material: special aluminium alloy with high silicon content, low thermal expansion and tin coating on sliding surfaces.
- Machined on numerically controlled machine tools.
- Lightened and reinforced.
- Improved heat exchange surfaces.
Piston rings
- Compression - special rings with high sliding facility and very high mechanical strength, in chromium-plated spheroidal cast iron S10.
- 1st scraper - ring in spheroidal cast iron S10 chrome-plated.
- 2nd three-piece scraper ring made of chromium-plated alloy steel.
