MVT DIGITAL DIRECT Internal Rotor, with light, Peugeot except Ludix
The new MVT Premium Digital Direct is the revolution in ignitions.
The most relevant characteristics of this ignition in comparison to the rest of the "Premium's" is that instead of being a simple internal rotor, it is powered by an electric water pump, which means no more problems with batteries.
It also stands out for its new design, the coils are neon orange and the small core is black.
And of course, the curve of this ignition is different from the normal Premium ignition, as this ignition is designed for competition.
It goes without saying that this ignition was part of the equipment of the winner of the French 80cc Championship.
Available now for your Marching Moped or Scooter.
what is variable advance and what does variable advance do?
When the engine is at low revs, it is ideal for the degree of ignition advance to be greater, i.e. the spark gap to be further forward than when the engine is at full revs, where the spark gap should be closer to PMS (top dead centre) to extract the maximum power from the engine and to have a more usable power curve.
The operation of a racingrotor is specifically a smaller diameter rotor and lighter, we will have less inertia during engine operation, so it will better accept the changes of revolutions.
the change of the original ignition system, implies a change in the CDI, so it is possible that this new "brain" of the system, implies an improvement in the ignition advance curves, so it can be better adapted to racing conditions.
An article that will leave you amazed at the change you will notice on your bike!
But don't forget that to get the most out of these ignition types for your bike, you need to complement it with further modifications to the engine, exhaust, cylinder, etc
