Description
Malossi Z 14/43 secondary transmission for Minarelli Horizontal Long engine.
The spur gears reduce friction and optimise torque transmission.
With the new SECOND ROLLER GEAR secondary gears, Malossi technicians have achieved the objective of minimising power losses due to friction inside the reduction gearbox. 14/43
This means that the full power of the engine is transmitted directly to the wheel.
To extend the transmission ratio, a longer transmission is required, which results in an increase of the final speed.
The original cylinders do not have enough power for a longer transmission, so we recommend combining this transmission with a more powerful cylinder. Malossi transmissions are reinforced and are suitable for racing.
It is advisable to change the primary transmission first for street use, and the secondary transmission for very high performance bikes.
WARNING: We recommend the 13/44 transmission (15.50% longer) for engines that are not very well prepared, and the 14/42 (25.00% longer) for engines that are very well prepared.
The transmission 16/40 (lengthening 60,00%) can only be fitted on engines that are fully prepared! If you are not sure which transmission is the right one for your preparation, please contact us
