A good brake pad break-in ensures better braking and no crystallisation of the brake pads.
Good brake pad break-in is very important for all compounds.
The correct brake pad break-in is done by a series of gentle braking by holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then stop braking to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action 5 or 6 times.
This will achieve a correct thermal and heating cycle, cooling of the system and subsequently better braking.
