Description
CDI variable advance control unit from Malossi for Minarelli AM6 engines.
Equipped with two different variable advance power curves, which are managed directly by the user through a simple programming procedure.
Malossi control units make it possible to eliminate the rev limiter present on the standard control units (the limiter can be fitted using the appropriate switch): in this way, the engine power and torque can be fully exploited, even at the highest engine speeds, up to 20,000 rev/minute.
Malossi control units are capacitive discharge and therefore allow the emission of disturbances during voltage discharge to be limited as much as possible, they provide an almost perfect spark plug voltage peak (35,000-50,000 volts based on engine speed), they also supply very high discharge voltages and discharge current with surprising constancy when varying the engine speed.
