Malossi control units make it possible to eliminate the rev limiter present on standard control units (the limiter can be fitted using the appropriate switch): in this way, the engine power and torque can be fully exploited, even at the highest engine speeds, up to 20,000 rpm.

Malossi control units are capacitive discharge control units and therefore make it possible to limit the emission of disturbances during voltage discharge as much as possible. They provide an almost perfect voltage peak at the spark plug (35,000-50,000 volts depending on engine speed), and also supply very high discharge voltages and discharge current with surprising constancy as the engine speed varies.
