Description
Stage6 Sport Pro MK2 70cc cylinder with 12mm piston pin for Minarelli Horizontal AC engines.
The cylinder was completely redesigned by Stage6. 6 transfers, instead of 5, ensure optimum cylinder filling. The oval exhaust was retained, but also optimised. The appearance is based on the pentagonal shape of the R/T cylinders. The cylinder head is a one-piece unit with fused exhaust channels for better heat dissipation. The piston is a replica of the R/T piston, with a domed piston crown and a 0.8mm thick piston ring to optimise performance and improve thermal stability.
The Sport Pro MK2 cylinder delivers 2 to 3 hp more power than the MK1, between 14-17 hp, without additional modifications and in combination with the corresponding components.
It is recommended to fit this cylinder with a reinforced crankshaft, and a minimum 21mm carburettor.
The kit includes:
- Aluminium cylinder, bore 47.6mm.
- 1 segment piston with 12mm piston pin.
- One-piece cylinder head.
- Set of gaskets.
Attention: The Squish recommended by the manufacturer should be between 0.75 and 0.85. During running-in it is recommended to run with 1:33 mixture to improve robustness and service life.
