Thermal anti-explosion clutch bell from the manufacturer Malossi with a diameter of 125mm for Honda SH/PCX 125/150.

The anti-explosion thermal clutch hoods are equipped with a reinforcement ring with fins, to better dissipate the heat that is produced mainly at start-up and when the vehicle accelerates from low speeds.

This technological innovation is the result of research carried out in the field of scooter racing.

It is based on the following principle:

• The larger radial surface area significantly reduces the operating temperature of the bell, thus considerably increasing the service life of the clutch unit.
• The clutch unit is highly stressed on urban journeys, when starting from a standstill and when exiting sharp bends with two people on board.

Malossi has therefore designed the Maxi Wing Clutch Bell to protect the clutch.

It should not be forgotten that the finned reinforcement ring is in itself an anti-explosion element, as it has been designed to withstand the high rotational speeds imposed by sporty riding, especially if the engine has been prepared, bearing in mind that the centrifugal force increases by the square with the increase in revs.
