The hardness of the clutch spring determines whether the mechanism opens the clutch to engage the clutch bell at higher or lower engine revolutions.
A harder spring will make the clutch "engage" at higher revolutions and consequently the bike will start faster from a standstill and you will notice a better acceleration, i.e. a soft spring is as if you start in "second gear", a hard spring is as if you start in "first gear". Be careful with your choice, because if it is too hard, you need more power and more RPM to start from a standstill
Malossi presents racing clutch springs for T-Max 500 models.
Surface galvanized to offer good thermal and corrosion resistance.
The kit includes 3 sets of springs with different stiffness.
With this set of springs you can adjust the clutch of your T-Max to engage up to 500rpm more.
So, in theory, you will have more power at the moment of engagement if the variator keeps pushing! Essential springs to play with the settings of the transmission.
