Control unit Malossi Digitronic Aprilia SR Motard / Piaggio Typhoon 50 2T LC euro 4 >2018

The manufacturer Malossi presents the new Digitronic ECU with variable advance for Aprilia SR Motard and Piaggio Typhoon 2T 50cc Euro 4 from 2018.

Compared to the original ECU, Malossi has modified the injection timing maps and increased the rev limit to 15,000 rpm.

The new Digitronic manages the ignition advance and the SAS valve.

Ignition advance map

• Ignition advance is managed by a three-dimensional map by linear interpolation, containing 16 parameterisation points for rpms and 8 parameterisation points for engine temperature.

SAS valve performance map

• The secondary intake valve on the injection body allows the engine management to compensate for the non-linearity typical of a carburettor-fuelled engine.
• The SAS (Secondary Air Source) valve is managed by the ECU via a linear interpolation performance map containing16 parameterisation points for RPMs and 8 for engine temperature.
• The SAS valve reduces emissions and optimises engine performance for all operating conditions.

Designed to be plug & play, i.e. compatible with the original sensors and actuators.

The calibrations and the fine-tuned orderly drawings allow a concrete increase in engine performance.
