Malossi MHR Team crankshaft for Piaggio Scooter engines with stroke 44, connecting rod 90 and pin 13.
Technical characteristics:
- Crankshaft material: 18 NiCr Mo5.
- Forged monolithic half-shaft and rotating mass.
- Manufactured using high-precision machines and tools.
- Five heat treatments on all components.
- High surface precision for improved reliability.
- Dynamic balancing up to 16,000 rpm.
- Connecting rod forged in 18 Ni Cr Mo 5 coated, coupled to the crankshaft with precision roller bearing for high speed.
Improvements compared to the previous version 5316029
- 10% more inertial mass.
- Reinforced connecting rod to withstand higher loads.
- Increased the cross-sectional area of the transmission side crankshaft by 10% with consequent increased strength.
- Increased oil seal diameter from 19 mm to 20 mm to increase crankshaft strength.
