Description
Polini cylinder kit and control unit for Piaggio 300cc Euro3 and Euro4 engines.
Based on the technology used in its competition engines, Polini has designed this thermal unit which has become a reference in the development of the Piaggio 300 engine.
Specifications:
- Cylinder: made with a special steel liner, with Nicasil coating, with an HTR ring. Thanks to this, it has been possible to increase the diameter to 77mm and to increase the cylinder capacity to 294cm3, compared to the original which is 278cm3.
- Piston: It has a particularly large skirt to resist the lateral forces generated by the connecting rod. The combustion chamber of the piston head has been designed to have an optimum compression ratio.
- Control unit: There are two curves for different types of preparation, the first one is designed to be fitted with a modified variator and original exhaust, and the second one to be used with a modified variator and exhaust.
It is easy to install, no modifications to the crankcase or cylinder head are necessary.
The control unit is plug&play, i.e. it connects to the original installation without any problem.
