The new high end cylinder from Metrakit, while retaining the metrakit line, still has exhaust ports with boosters. The new ""Pro 3"" has a slightly larger 5 load transfer than the old version.
As a new feature, the Metrakit cylinders are now also available with Vertex pistons (d.47,6mm).

The Pro Race cylinder is made of a special aluminium alloy for maximum performance and hardness, guaranteeing superior mechanical characteristics. The inner coating of Nickel and Silicon Carbon ensures the best performance.
The Metrakit cylinder head is composed of two parts, cylinder head and cylinder head. The same special alloy of the cylinder is found in the cylinder head, which provides maximum safety for the necessary performance in competition. The design of the cylinder head is studied to increase the cooling capacity, and withstand the high temperatures and high revolutions that they reach.
The material of the O-rings is Viton. It is the most appropriate material for this function as it is the one that best preserves its properties of hardness, elasticity and sealing at high temperatures.
The piston, with a single ring, is designed for a competition cylinder. The ring is made of a special graphite alloy treated and coated with hard chrome of high thickness and hardness, so that it retains all its conditions in long competitions.
All this studied and tested for the hard competition at the highest level.
