Brake Pads Galfer Honda Integra X-ADV Kawasaki Z800/900 - Sintered
Galfer brake pads with compound G1371 street sintered, for the most demanding people, for sports driving in the city. This compound has a high coefficient of friction.
Similar to compound 1375, but without the ceramic coating, and a low metal level in its compound. Obtaining, as a result, lighter brake pads and with greater heat dissipation power, for greater durability.
It is a model focused on sport or sport touring bikes.
A good roll of the brake pads provides a better brake avoiding crystallization. It is very important for all the compounds to make a good running of the brake pads.
The correct running of the brake pads: it is done by means of a series of soft braking holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then stopping to cool the disc and pads. Repeat this action 5 or 6 times.
This achieves correct thermal cycling of heating and cooling the system and eventually better braking.
