A good brake pad break-in provides better braking and prevents crystallisation.
The correct brake pad break-in is carried out through a series of gentle braking by holding the brake lever for 10-15 seconds and then stop braking to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a correct thermal and heating cycle, cooling of the system and subsequently better braking.
