Athena pistons are produced from a special high performance aluminium alloy, with a back extrusion forging process to achieve the highest level of performance and reliability.
A special molybdenum disulphide sintered coating is applied to thepiston skirt of these pistons, which allows for increased smoothness, performance and durability, reducing friction and noise.
