Malossi MHR large radiator. The performance and durability of a racing cylinder is very dependent on the temperature. 55-60°C is considered optimum temperature for a 2-stroke engine equipped with an aluminium cylinder. The standard radiators are too small to ensure such a low temperature in racing (with bracket and accessories)
