The Malossi Hyper Racing (MHR) series offers us the reed box MHR VL12 made ofcarbon fibres .

The reed box is composed of two reeds. Malossi has studied the reed box for the most prepared engines.
Made of the best materials and modified to find the best performances.

If we want to prepare an engine we have to think that the most important thing is the fuel/air mixture intake, and Malossi has presented us this fabulous reed box compatible with the Minarelli Horizontal engines.


Once we mount this reed box we can combine it with a carburettor

t he Malossi VL12 has the famous Venturi, designed with a recalculated angle and flow section to improve the air mixture.
When we want to mount the VL12 reed box we will have to bore the crankcase, in order to get the most out of the box

WARNING WE WILL HAVE TO MANDRINATE THE CASING A LITTLE TO MOUNT THE REED BOX AND GET THE MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE


Malossi VL12 includes the 0,30mm thick reeds. Malossi also offers the replacement of the reeds with different thickness(ref. 278118.C0)
Without a doubt it is one of the best options for prepared engines!

WE RECOMMEND to mount a bigger carburettor together with a bigger nozzle, in order to enrich both air and fuel intake and to improve the mixture.
