The manufacturer Malossi presents this RS24/10-R rear shock absorber for Yamaha T-Max 530 >17.

The RS24/10-R rear shock absorber is composed of a single body crossed by a newly designed hydraulic circuit that allows the integration of all the adjustments while maintaining the same dimensions of the original shock absorber, without reducing the overall dimensioning of the hydraulic brake.

It has 4 settings:

• Interaxle adjustment: Rotate to modify the height of the rear brake - 2mm + 8mm compared to the original.
• Extension adjustment: To vary the brake when the shock absorber re-opens after having been compressed.
• Spring pre-load adjustment: To increase or decrease the "initial" load of the shock absorber and thus determine the initial stiffness of the system.
• Compression control:To control the closing brake of the shock absorber and vary the behaviour of the shock absorber in relation to the roughness of the terrain. It is possible to program a stiffer but more stable sport configuration or a softer and more comfortable touring configuration.

The RS24/10-R is equipped with two nitrogen reservoirs to compensate the piston rod. This system allows the load curves to be completely modified according to the pressure of each chamber, i.e. the mobilisation modes during the compression and extension phases, and guarantees greater compactness of the shock absorber compared to the system with a single external reservoir, less friction and greater dispersion of the heat produced by the operation of the system.
