Yamaha T-Max 500 01-11 MHR Malossi Transmission

The engineers at Malossi have come up with a transmission set that is longer than the original for the Yamaha T-Max 500 (up to 2011), with 26 teeth on the sprocket and 40 on the sprocket set (original 25/41) to increase the gear ratio by up to 7%.

With 26 teeth on the sprocket and 40 on the sprocket, (original 25/41) the ratio of the bike is up to 7% longer, to get more top speed. If this is not enough, Malossi have gone one step further and have built this transmission narrower than the original to fit their Morse Competition chain, which is included in the kit, allowing the removal of the support springs. The chain is narrower and lighter than the stock one.
