Description
Clutch spring from the manufacturer Malossi.
The hardness of the clutch spring determines whether the mechanism opens the clutch to engage the clutch bell at more or less engine revolutions.
A harder spring will make the clutch "engage" at more revolutions and consequently the bike will start faster from a standstill and you will notice a better acceleration, i.e. a soft spring is as if you start in "second gear", with a hard spring it is as if you start in "first gear". Be careful with your choice because if it is too hard, you need more power and more RPM to start from a standstill.
Malossi springs are made of high carbon silicon alloy steel, heat treated to resist high temperatures, and do not lose their properties at high temperatures or with use.
Spring hardness:
White: 30% harder origin
Green: 60% harder origin
Purple: 82% harder origin
Blue: 106% harder origin
Black: 114% harder origin
A spring for engines prepared 100% for competition, tested by the best riders in Spain and Italy.
NOTE: To mount this spring on Minarelli engines it is necessary to use Malossi Overrange/ Polini EVO or Stage6 CVT pulleys.
