With the MHR Team Big Bore 77cc cylinder Malossi finally enters the category of cylinders over 70cc. The basis of the BigBore cylinder is the cylinder that is so successful in racing: the Malossi MHR TEAM II with seven transfers. The difference between the BigBore and the MHR TEAM II is the bore: instead of 47.6mm the piston is 50mm!
On Piaggio engines the BigBore can only be fitted with an 85mm crankshaft (e.g. S6-7914085 / S6-7914088). With the increased displacement you get even more power out of this cylinder, which means that you can get a real 25 HP at the rear wheel.
In order to fit the cylinder properly, the crankcase has to be faced (as with the MHR TEAM 70cc cylinders).
